NOVUM_HEFLEX NOVUM HEFLEX The HEFLEX temperature control system, IP protected by NORDISH, is a novelty in the heating sector and suitable for installation on walls or ceilings.

The HEFLEX approach combines, for the first time in the heating sector, an infrared (IR) surface heating panel and IR reflection planes.

The system is characterised by maximum heating and cost efficiency while providing highest heating comfort for the user.

At the same time HEFLEX supports the increasing requirements for summer heat protection.

EFFICIENCY HEFLEX is characterised by low net operating times and thus low energy consumption.

This is achieved through the use of the latest materials such as a carbon heat coating and the number of system advantages, e.g. maximum heating surface proportion, thermally insulating air layers and reflection planes.

The use of a programmable switching hysteresis further minimizes the energy requirement.
PHYSICS IN PRACTICE We have maximised the proportion of heating surface of the HEFLEX panels to achieve the highest possible heating effect per panel.

Depending on the set temperature, the radiant heat output is at least a factor of 2 higher than the electrical connected load. As a result, material costs can be minimized.

The direct application of the carbon heat element with the fibre panel boards avoids thermal coupling losses.
CONTROL The HEFLEX heating system is compatible with a variety of modern smart home systems.

The control in combination with the fast heating rate of the HEFLEX system allows the use of heating profiles that are specific to the individual user requirements.

The control can be carried out via a thermosensor connected to the HEFLEX panel or by sensing the room air temperature.
AUTONOMY The HEFLEX heating panels are operated with 48 Volt direct current. This makes the heating system compatible with solar power.

The combination of photovoltaics, battery storage and HEFLEX is therefore a big step towards autonomous living.

The total costs of the HEFLEX system plus photovoltaic and battery storage are still lower than those of an air-water heat pump, for example.
LIVING COMFORT HEFLEX fosters a healthy and comfortable room climate. Thanks to the infrared principle a dry building structure is created which eliminates moulding issues and at the same time avoids humidity related heat transmission losses.

Also the system addresses house dust allergies as dust ist not whirled around as common with convection heating.

Being a full surface heating system with a maximum surface temperature of 40ºC a most cozy room climate is being created.

When reinvesting the savings in material costs in a photovoltaic system and an battery storage unit, the net electricity requirement of a HEFLEX system is significantly lower than that of other systems. And....natural resources are being preserved!

COMPARISON - 60% AIR-WATER HEATPUMP TOTAL COST COMPARISON Depending on the type of HEFLEX installation, the savings of a HEFLEX system including hot water is between approx. 40 and 75% vs. an air-water heat pump with water-guided underfloor heating. HEFLEX AIR-WATER HEATPUMP Even if a photovoltaic system and a battery storage unit are purchased, the total costs of a HEFLEX system remain below those of the heat pump.
